In March 1983, Bader Trading & Contracting was established as a provider of quality waterproofing system and energy saving insulation. The company was the first in Bahrain to introduce sprayed polyurethene insulation, which was a break through in proprietary roofing systems. Today, we are proud to be pioneers and leaders in our market.

In March 1993, Mr Bader decided to establish a manufacturing facility for producing waterproofing products which was imported from Europe to be self sufficient, hence a new company called Gulf Membrane and Coating Industries (GMCI) was established.

With the hard work and commitment of the Management, GMCI not only manufactured and supplied quality products to local market but also exported its products globally, covering over 25 countries.

Then in year 2004 as the property market started to pick up in Bahrain, Mr Bader initiated a new venture called Sphinx to cater to the management and development needs for real estate projects. Since then more than 50 projects, valued USD 50 million had been executed and completed. More projects are underway in the years to come.

Then in year 2012 Greentech was created to meet Bahrain and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia environmental preservation and green building needs. It is a part of Bader Group of companies. The company provides a range of products and services under the environmental solutions domain. Greentech is one of the few regional providers of air quality, emission monitoring, water quality instrument and services. We represent some manufacturer for most advanced emission monitoring systems. We offer a complete line of products for data management and air quality modeling.

Then in year 2017 Angivest ventures is an angel investment company seeking investments in young start-ups with a deep sense of purpose and a passion to promote entrepreneurship and innovation.Our philosophy is to work to the strengths of entrepreneurs and to provide support in areas where they need it the most. We are here to give back to the community by mentoring worthy entrepreneurs.

Today Bader Group, employs over 250 people with a turn over of USD 50 million per annum. The brand has a strong good will in the market. Bader Group further expanded its activities thanks to its skilled and committed management team; and the philosophy and dynamism of its Chairman.
